Near Mint
NMCards in very good overall condition with only minor imperfections. Small amounts of whitening, tiny edge or corner imperfections, light surface scratches, or minor factory defects may be present. NM does not mean flawless.
Lightly Played
LPCards with noticeable but relatively limited wear. May include more visible whitening, edge wear, scratches, or minor surface imperfections. No major damage is present.
Moderately Played
MPCards with clearly visible wear. Can include significant whitening, scratches, surface wear, corner and edge wear, or other noticeable imperfections.
Heavily Played
HPCards with substantial wear or damage obvious at normal viewing distance. May include heavy whitening, significant scratches, dents, bends, creases, or other major imperfections.
Damaged
DMGCards with severe damage such as major creases, tears, water damage, heavy bends, significant surface damage, or other conditions that substantially affect the card.
Our grading standard
JMCollectibles grades cards based on overall condition. We grade honestly and conservatively — but Near Mint is a condition category, not a guarantee of perfection. Minor imperfections are possible on legitimately NM cards.
Photos and individual card variation
Photographs are provided to represent the actual card whenever practical, but minor imperfections may not always be visible in photos. For higher-value cards, customers are encouraged to carefully inspect all available photos and contact JMCollectibles before purchasing if they need additional images or have specific condition requirements.
